UNM’s Graduate and Professional Students Association (GPSA) and Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) are holding a parking and transportation summit on Wednesday, April 20 to address graduate student questions about parking and shuttle services. Faculty and staff input is also encouraged.
The UNM School of Medicine and UNM HSC Office for Diversity are hosting “Changing the Face of Medicine: Black Women in Medicine” Friday, April 1, 4-8 p.m. in Domenici Center Auditorium, 1,000 Stanford NE on UNM’s North Campus. The event will feature former U.S. Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, MD, who also is the first African American U.S. Surgeon General.
The Perry Initiative, a national outreach program introducing high school students to careers in orthopedic surgery and engineering, is day-long event that features hands-on modules presented by UNM female physicians and engineers.
