Department of Pediatrics announces new faculty members
The Department of Pediatrics welcomed 11 new faculty members over the summer:
Robert Christenson, MD, joined UNM Pediatrics Endocrinology. Christenson completed his endocrinology fellowship in 1987 and has more than 20 years of experience as a pediatric endocrinologist at Loma Linda University.
Patricia Siegel, OTR/L, CHT, joined UNM Pediatrics/Occupational Therapy in July. She received her Bachelors of Science in 1990 from Texas Woman’s University. She has 20 years of orthopedic hand and upper extremity experience, including splinting and wound care.
Alfonso Belmonte, MD, joined UNM Pediatrics Hospitalists. Belmonte completed his Pediatric Residency Program Chief assignment at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center in June 2015.
Kyle Lemley, MD, joined UNM Pediatrics Critical Care. Lemley completed his fellowship in critical care medicine in June 2015 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.
Stephen Lunderman, DO, is one of our chief residents for FY2016. Lunderman received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, in 2012 and will complete his residency program at the UNM School of Medicine in June of 2016.
Jenny Camacho, MD, is one of our chief residents for FY2016. Camacho received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2012 and will be completing her residency program at the UNM School of Medicine in June of 2016.
Alicia Gill, MD, joined UNM Pediatrics Hospitalists. Gill completed her pediatric residency at UNM in June 2015. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2012.
Jennifer Garcia, MD, joined UNM General Pediatrics in August. Garcia completed her pediatric residency in June of 2009 with UNM and has been working with First Choice Community Healthcare.
Summer Donovan, MD, joined UNM General Pediatrics in August. Summer completed her pediatric infectious disease fellowship in June 2015 at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems.
Michael Gomez, MD, joined UNM Pediatrics Neonatology and UNM Health System as executive physician of clinical operations. Gomez completed his postdoctoral fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
Marybeth Graham, PhD, joined UNM Pediatrics Center for Development and Disability. She received her PhD from the University of Notre Dame in counseling/applied developmental psychology.
