Food, Giveaways to Highlight Staff Recognition Celebration

Boxed lunches, including a vegetarian option, will be offered to HSC staff at the Pug Burge Staff Recognition Event on Friday 10/18/13. In addition to the lunch offered, HSC Staff employees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for prizes from UNM Athletics, Popejoy, UNM Parking, ABQ Trolley, and many more to be announced.

Music on the Plaza offered by the HSC Wellness program hosted 20 noontime concerts this year.  The bands played tunes ranging from Celtic to Rock n’ Roll and Country to smooth Jazz.  The 2013 series, held over the lunch hour from 12-1 PM in the HSC Plaza, began on Friday June 7th and will end on Friday October 18th. The summer series has been a staple of the HSC for over 10 years.  This year, the HSC Wellness program has coupled a new program with the Music on the Plaza series – Free Healthy Food Friday’s – which has provided healthy eating options for students, staff, and faculty.
