HSC staff celebration slated for June 20

The annual UNM Health Sciences Center (HSC) Pug Burge All Staff Recognition Celebration, named to honor retired associate vice president for HSC administration Pug Burge, will be held 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Friday June 20.

HSC staff will be able to enjoy entertainment, free giveaways and a boxed lunch at the event, which will take place on the HSC plaza near the Med II building.  In addition, staff will be able to enter for drawings of more than 20 donated prizes, ranging from a year’s worth of free UNM parking to food and spa services.

“Throughout her career, Pug Burge was known for her caring and mentorship of staff at UNM," said Ava Lovell, senior executive officer for finance and administration. “She has always encouraged others to take advantage of education opportunities at UNM and to always continue to grow. We are glad to once again be able to provide our hardworking staff with a celebration of music, food and camaraderie."
