Statement from Chief Medical Investigator Nolte on passing of Retta Ward

"Retta Ward chaired the board of the Office of the Medical Investigator in her role as secretary of the New Mexico Department of Health. In working with her over the past 18 months I found her to be warm, engaged and a thoughtful partner. She brought great commitment and energy to her work and made a tremendous contribution to the health and well-being of all New Mexicans. My colleagues and I at OMI will miss her. "
