Toys for Tots gives to UNM Children's Hospital

First Sergeant John Finney, Company D, 4th Recon Battalion, meets UNM Children’s Hospital patient Nathan Koetter while distributing toys for the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots Program in UNM’s Children’s Hospitals Child Life unit.

Toys for Tots has been working with the UNM Center for Surgical Critical Care to bring a message of hope to children who spend the holidays in the hospital. Finney, a father of five, knows what it means to have toys for kids on Christmas morning. “Seeing their expression is priceless,” he says. “We’re honored to help UNM Children’s Hospital patients who might not be going through the best of times right now.”
