V. Ann Waldorf, PhD, associate professor, vice chair for behavioral sciences, clinical psychologist, UNM Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, has been invited to participate in the upcoming American Psychological Association Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology. Waldorf was selected, as part of a competitive process, in recognition of her outstanding career achievements and demonstrated leadership potential.
The institute begins in October 2015 with a two-and-one-half-day workshop in Washington, DC. Throughout the year, Waldorf will also participate in one-on-one meetings, webinars and small group discussions with other honorees.
Now in its 8th year, the institute’s mission is to prepare, support, and empower women psychologists as leaders to promote positive changes in institutional and organizational life and to increase the diversity, number, and effectiveness of women psychologists as leaders.
