93.3 KKOB's John and the Bean to Host Three-Day Radio-A-Thon to Benefit UNM Children's Hospital

Radio personalities John and the Bean from 93.3 KKOB-FM will host a live, three-day radio-a-thon to raise funds for UNM Children's Hospital.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, and running through 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, listeners can call in to the radio station to make pledges to help Children's Hospital provide life-saving equipment and vital programs for New Mexico's largest pediatric facility.

John and the Bean will broadcast live Thursday and Friday from 6 11 a.m. from the pediatric floor of the hospital. KKOB-FM listeners will hear stories from patients, doctors, nurses and other staff.

On Saturday, April 21, John and the Bean will broadcast live from Cottonwood Mall from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Activities include a game where players can win prizes including a bicycle package from Cycle Cave, a Sony Play Station II, or two roundtrip tickets from Continental Airlines. These events will be held on the lower level of the mall April 19, 20 and 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
