Albuquerque Top Docs Awards Dinner Announced

The red carpet, black tie gala, which was originally scheduled for March 22, has been changed to April 15. The time and place remain the same: Hyatt Regency Downtown, 6 p.m. The evening will include an outstanding live auction of trips, entertainment packages and gift certificates from local businesses. Last month, Albuquerque the Magazine polled almost 700 area physicians for their annual Top Docs issue, asking them who they would refer a loved one to, other than themselves. UNM doctors made up 36 percent of all the doctors named -- up from 33 percent last year. In 12 of the 32 medical specialties included in the poll, UNM physicians received half or more of the total votes. Seven UNM doctors were named as the top doctor in their specialties: R.
