Bone Marrow Transplant Program Brings Care to New Mexico
Only such center in the state treats blood cancer patients

James Rockenfield was diagnosed with Lymphoma in November of 2016. He quickly learned that he would need a bone marrow transplant to fight the disease. This treatment, just a few short years ago, would have taken him out of state, but thanks to the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at the University of New Mexico’s Comprehensive Cancer Center, he was able to receive the procedure in Albuquerque.
