"Bringing Cancer Therapies From the Lab to the Clinic" Next Topic in Cancer Education Series

Cheryl Willman, M.D., director of the UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center, will talk about "Bringing Cancer Therapies From the Lab to the Clinic" in the second of a four-part cancer education series sponsored by the center.

Willman will speak Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Ronald Gardenswartz Jewish Community Center, 5520 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

Nov. 13: "Cancer Treatment Research Studies"

Dec. 11: "Cancer Resources in the Community"

The UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center, founded in 1972, is the only health care facility in the state dedicated to both cancer research and patient care.
