Children's Miracle Network Celebration Airs June 4

Sunday, June 4, 2006, a five-hour Celebration of Thanks will air on Cable Access Television, Channel 27. The show airs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and willHonor, Educate and Entertain. The Children's Miracle Network Celebration will send out a big "Thank You" to the National Sponsors of Children's Miracle Network.

The top Children's Miracle Network national sponsors include: Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, Credit Unions, Dairy Queen, RE/MAX International, Valero/Diamond Shamrock and many others. Additional supporters of UNM Children's Hospital through Children's Miracle Network include: Love's Country Stores, Rite Aid, ACE Hardware, Marriott, Sara Lee, General Growth Properties, American Legion, Life Uniforms, Carmike Cinemas, Hershey's, Foresters, USA Gymnastics, Church's Chicken and many other individuals.

These partners and others will be recognized for their fundraising efforts on behalf of Children's Miracle Network. Children's Miracle Network's founding pledge is to put children first in all it does and keep 100 percent of the donations in the community where the funds were raised. Each year, member hospitals treat more than 17 million sick children. In New Mexico the Children's Miracle Network hospital UNM Children's Hospital treats almost 41,000 of New Mexico's youth each year and sees children from every county.
