Crystal Frantz Named Executive Director of CTH

Crystal Frantz, MSN, RN, has been appointed Executive Director of Carrie Tingley Hospital (CTH) after serving as interim for the position since September 2005. Frantz has worked at CTH for three years and has been with the University of New Mexico Hospitals (UNMH) for 10 years.

Before arriving at UNMH, Frantz served 10 years with the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps and also worked as a Nurse Care Coordinator for the pediatric unit at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M.

Frantz has held numerous leadership positions while at UNMH and CTH. She first started at UNMH as a Nurse Discharge Coordinator for pediatrics and women's services. In 2003, she joined CTH to serve as the Unit Director for the outpatient clinics.

"I enjoy being part of the team at Carrie Tingley Hospital," said Frantz. "I look forward to the challenges as Carrie Tingley Hospital works to provide excellent patient care and services to the children in the State of New Mexico."

Frantz received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Phoenix.
