Dr. Denece Kesler Appointed to National Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health

Denece O. Kesler, M.D., MPH has been appointed to serve on the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  The board consists of 15 members and provides advice to the Director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for Occupational Safety and Health research and prevention programs. 

At UNM Health Sciences Center Dr Kesler serves as the Medical Director for UNM and UH Occupational Health Services.  She is an assistant professor with the Division of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine within the School of Medicine's Department of Internal Medicine.
