Dr. Javier Aceves Receives Nomination for the 2002 Association of American Medical Colleges Humanism in Medicine Award

 Dr. Javier Aceves was nominated for the 2002 Association of American Medical Colleges Humanism in Medicine Award.  Aceves is an associate professor within the department of Pediatrics. 

Student representatives from 53 medical schools made the nominations. Students were asked to nominate based on five defining characteristics:  positive mentoring skills, compassion and sensitivity, collaboration, community service activity and observance of professional ethics.
