Dr. Oprea Elected as Chair to Professional Society

 

 

Tudor Oprea, Ph.D., professor within the UNM School of Medicine Division of Biocomputing, recently was elected as the Chair of the International QSAR and Modeling Society for 2006-2010.  

The Society was formed in 1989.  All scientists who investigate quantitative structure-activity relationships in medicinal, agricultural, or environmental chemistry through classical QSAR, multivariate statistical modeling, molecular modeling, and computer-aided drug design, are encouraged and invited to join the Society.
