Dr. Ross Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

 

She received a lifetime achievement award for her service and research into virtual imaging software as the founding director of the Biocomputaion Center at the NASA Ames Research Center.  The software developed there has proven to be an invaluable tool for surgeons who can practice their techniques and surgical procedures on a virtual model before performing them on patients.
