Eligible Staff to Receive One-Time $1,100 Payment

On August 31, 2012, all eligible HSC staff will receive a one-time payment of $1,100.00. The ERB retirement deduction will not be made from this portion of your check. Also the additional 1.75% ERB payment taken from checks last year has now been shifted back to the employer and will not be deducted from your check.

Staff members not eligible to receive the payment are: those whose employment start date is after 1/1/2012, those staff on temporary or on-call and those who received an unsatisfactory performance evaluation.

HSC Faculty will not receive the payment.

Rather than spreading out what little money was available to our HSC faculty, we decided to focus on faculty whose salaries were well below the twenty-fifth percentile nationally.

That process has begun. Some faculty began receiving that increase in July.
