HSC Announces Seasonal Flu-Shot-Clinic Schedule

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The popular UNM Health Sciences Center drive-thru flu shot clinic for immunization against the seasonal flu will be conducted again this year on Saturday, September 22, at the UNM Family Practice Center, 2400 Tucker NE, on the UNM north campus for people 18 years and older.

In addition, this year HSC will set up weekend flu shot clinics at its University Area, Northeast Heights and Southeast Heights clinics, as well as the UNM Center for Life (CFL) and Center for Development and Disability (CDD). The clinics will be held Saturdays beginning September 22, and running through November 10, or until the vaccine runs out. UNM’s CDD clinic is slated for Wednesday, October 3.

These flu shot are free to everyone. The UNM Health Sciences Center has made a commitment to administer these free flu shots for the good of the community. Following are the times and locations of the HSC’s public flu shot clinics:

UNM Family Practice Center, 2400 Tucker NE, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. (Drive Thru18 years and older)

Saturday, September 29

UNM Northeast Heights Clinic, 7801 Academy Blvd. NE, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Drive thru nine years or older)

Wednesday, October 3

UNM CDD, 2300 Menaul NE, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Saturday, October 6

Family Practice Westside Clinic, 4808 McMahon Blvd NE, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (six months and older)

Saturday, October 20

UNM University Area Clinic, 1209 University Blvd, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (six months and older)

Saturday, October 27

UNM CFL Haunted House Flu Clinic, 4700 Jefferson NE, suite 100, 9 a.m.-noon (three years and older)

Lobo Care/Senior Health Clinic, 1101 Medical Arts Ave NE, Bldg 4, Suite A, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (six months and older)
