HSC Job Fair Slated for End of August

At a time when health care provider shortages continue throughout New Mexico, the UNM Health Sciences Center (HSC) and The New Mexico Medical Society are sponsoring an annual Job Fair on Tuesday, August 31.

The Job Fair allows all medical residents and HSC students looking for employment in New Mexico after graduation a chance to visit with New Mexico employers and learn about their organizations and the communities they serve. The fair’s overall goal is to recruit and retain Health Professionals in New Mexico communities.

The Job Fair is open to physicians, family nurse practitioners, midwives, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, nutritionists, dieticians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, dentists, dental hygienists, Medical Lab and Radiology technicians, EMS, MPH students and other diagnostic/therapeutic students.

It will take place between 9 a.m.- 2p.m. Tuesday, August 31 in the HSC Plaza (moving into the Domenici Center for Education at 1001 Stanford NE, in the event of bad weather.)
