HSC Receives Energy Star Recognition

In recognition of superior energy performance, the Health Sciences and Services Building (HSSB) has earned the EPA’s ENERGY STAR recognition based on the following factors:

· Building has a combination of academics, classrooms, finance and administrative functions

· First UNM building to receive this recognition

· Lowered energy use 27.12 percent over the last two years

· Energy conservation has been a concerted effort by everyone in the building
