Louise Kahn to Join UNM College of Nursing Faculty

The UNM College of Nursing welcomes Louise Kahn, RN, MSN, CPNP to the department as a visiting clinical faculty member.

Kahn brings an extensive background as a pediatric nurse practitioner in community-based maternal-child and pediatric nursing to the position, most recently through her leadership to nurses and lay health workers in rural New Mexico . Kahn is also a Robert Wood Johnson nurse executive fellow. Her life passions have focused on issues of health advocacy and the role of parent leadership in reducing health and educational disparities for minority and poor children in New Mexico . Kahn received a dual-masters degree in both community health nursing and Latin American studies from the University of New Mexico .
