Melton Joins Public Affairs Office at UNM Health Sciences Center

Lynn Tefft Melton has joined the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center as a public affairs representative.

Melton is responsible for coordinating various media related activities, including press releases and news conferences, and responding to requests for information from the media and the public.

Melton had worked as communication manager for Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute since February 2001. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, she was a newspaper reporter in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for 10 years.

Melton holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Iowa.
