November 9 public talk provides behind-the-scenes look at Ebola epidemic

Eileen MacBride, MD, MPH, will bring you behind the scenes in Sierra Leone during the Ebola epidemic in an upcoming public presentation regarding her work there.

MacBride, an internist in UNM’s Department of Internal Medicine, will be joined on November 9 by Dr. Barry Ramo, KOAT-TV’s medical editor and medical director of the Health Center for Wellness, Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation, as they discuss why such an epidemic couldn’t happen here and take questions from the audience.

The Albuquerque Academy Community Academy event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Simms Center for the Performing Arts, 6400 Wyoming Blvd NE. The event is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
