Albuquerque, N.M.-On Monday, September 4, the University of New Mexico Children's Hospital will receive a special visit from four reality-tv golfers from the hit Golf Channel show The Big Break. Golf Channel reality stars Kristina Tucker, Jeanne Cho, Dana Lacey and Katie Ruhe will be taking a tour of the facilities and will be visiting with pediatric patients. The Golf Channel will also be in attendance to film the event.

While in New Mexico, all four golfers will also be playing in the Celebrity Pro-Am for the 53rd Annual Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino New Mexico Open, September 5-9. Other invited guests to the Celebrity Pro-Am Tournament include Notah Begay, Tim Herron, Kip Henley III and Bobby Knight.

The New Mexico open will feature 150 of the finest professional and amateur players vying for an $80,000 purse. The proceeds from the New Mexico Open and the Celebrity Pro-Am will benefit UNM Children's Hospital. Since 2000, the New Mexico Open has generated more than $124,000 to benefit the hospital and its patients.

Hazel Tull-Leach, executive director of the UNM Children's Hospital Development Office, said, "Sun Country PGA is a great asset to UNM Children's Hospital. We truly appreciate their caring and support."

Sun Country PGA has committed $100,000 to support the Pavilion which will house the new UNM Children's Hospital.
