The University of New Mexico welcomes the state's only board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility (RE&I) Specialist. Paul Magarelli, M.D., Ph.D., opened the Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Center at the University of New Mexico (RMFC @ UNM) in March 2004.

Magarelli is the Medical Director of RMFC @ UNM, which is jointly operated in Colorado Springs, Co, and Albuquerque at the University of Nw Mexico. RMFC@UNM is dedicated to providing New Mexicans with options for superior high-tech fertility care. The center's motto, "High Tech with a Personal Touch", reflects their commitment to compassionate and comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of infertility couples.

Magarelli is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the RE&I Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UNM School of Medicine. He received his doctorate of medicine in 1988 from the University of Arizona. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center in 1992. In 1994, Magarelli completed his fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles/Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Magarelli continues to direct his private practice in southern Colorado while simultaneously starting the University Practice at UNM. His two offices will be jointly operated, and patients will continue to be seen at both. Some patients from New Mexico will travel to Colorado Springs to receive advanced laboratory intensive treatments.

Magarelli's pregnancy success rate regularly surpasses national statistics. Regardless of his outstanding success rate, Magarelli continues to dedicate his practice and his focus to "one healthy baby".

RMFC@UNM is dedicated to providing New Mexico residents with options for superior high-tech fertility care. The center's motto, "Academic Excellence with Practice Efficiency", reflects a commitment to compassionate, comprehensive and state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of infertility couples, while providing cost effective, novel, advanced reproductive technologies.
