Riordan Joins Public Affairs Office at UNM Health Sciences Center

Jennifer Riordan has joined the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center as senior public affairs representative.

Riordan is responsible for advising members of the university community regarding public relations issues and assisting administration in planning and formulating policies, strategies and responses relative to institutional issues and crisis management.

Riordan also will plan and direct development and communication of information designed to keep public informed of university's programs, accomplishments and or points of view.

Riordan formerly worked as an account executive for Cooney, Watson & Assoc., Inc., where she handled all public relations activities for the Big I Reconstruction Project. She also held marketing and communications positions with Albuquerque Title Company, New Mexico Student Union and the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation.

Riordan holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a Minor in Business Management from the University Of New Mexico and associate's degrees from Champlain College in Burlington, VT.
