Riordan Named "Member of the Year" by Local AMA Chapter

Jennifer Riordan, senior public affairs representative with the Office of Public Affairs at the UNM Health Sciences Center, has been named "Member of the Year" by the New Mexico chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).

Chosen by the chapter's officers, the "Member of the Year" is a member in good standing who exemplifies the highest ideals of the marketing profession.  The honoree also demonstrates continuous support of the chapter by serving on committees and participating in programs, seminars and special events.

"Jennifer Riordan truly has demonstrated awesome support for the chapter, with whole-hearted and enthusiastic participation in chapter committees, programs and in the leadership of the chapter," said Cassandra Shaw, president of the New Mexico AMA.  "She has helped our chapter grow financially and gain exposure in many ways.  The New Mexico Chapter of the American Marketing Association truly would not be where it is today without Jennifer's support."

Riordan joined the Office of Public Affairs at the UNM Health Sciences Center in July.
