A fun-filled day of golf will benefit patients and kids at UNM Children's Hospital. Wal-Mart on Eubank is hosting its Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 12, at Los Altos Golf Course. The four-man Scramble tournament will begin with a shot gun start at 8 a.m.

Wal-Mart is a year-round supporter of Children's Miracle Network (CMN), an alliance of premier children's hospitals in North America including UNM Children's Hospital. Wal-Mart's enthusiastic fundraising allows UNM Children's Hospital the ability to purchase many valuable pieces of medical equipment through the CMN Allocations process.

The entrance fee of $65 will include green fees, range balls, golf cart and lunch. Players can form teams of up to four golfers. There will be lots of prizes, food and fun. Sponsorships also are available. Register a team by calling Mary Sexton at 293-8878.

UNM Children's Hospital of New Mexico, located within UNM Hospital, provides the most advanced neonatology and pediatric care available in New Mexico. Our care ranges from Ambulatory care outpatient clinics to inpatient units providing the highest level of intensive care hospitalization. UNM Children's Hospital cares for more than 57,000 children every year.
