UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center Appoints New Development Officer

The UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center recently appointed Julie W. Emons as the new development officer. Emons previously held the position of development officer at the UNM Zimmerman Library. She has over 12 years experience in development and marketing with Special Olympics and several for-profit organizations.

Emons has an M.A. in philanthropy and development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota and a B.A. in communications from UNM. Emons serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Northern New Mexico Tennis Association.
