UNM College of Pharmacy Selects Distinguished Alumni Award Winner

The UNM College of Pharmacy has selected Cheryl Graham, M.D., as the recipient of the College's 2001 Distinguished Alumni Award.

Graham is a senior vice president at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for the compnay's Global Research and Development and is vice president of the Pfizer Regulatory Affairs Department for U.S. Clinical Research.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Graham worked at the FDA for 14 years and served in a number of leadership positions including deputy director.

Graham received her B.S. degrees in Pharmacy and Biology from UNM in 1968. She also has an M.D. and M.S. in microbiology from UNM.

"UNM is proud to have had a part in Dr. Graham's successful career," said William Hadley, Ph. D., dean of the College of Pharmacy. "She is an inspiration to students pursuing careers in pharmacy."
