UNM Health Sciences Center Appoints New Development Director

Susan Crow has been appointed to the position of Director for Health Sciences Center Development at the University of New Mexico.

Crow will oversee development and fundraising initiatives for the Health Sciences Center's academic and clinical components including UNM Hospitals, School of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, Cancer Research and Treatment Center and the HSC Library and Informatics Center.

Crow has over 15 years of experience in development and fundraising. Most recently she served as director for development for the UCLA Division of Humanities and before that as associate director of development for the UCLA School of Medicine. She also directed fundraising activities at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County prior to joining UCLA.

"My goals are to build public awareness of what the UNM Health Sciences Center provides for the state and the community and to strengthen fundraising efforts to advance our mission of improving education, research and health care for all New Mexicans," said Crow.

A graduate of the University of California-Berkeley, Crow enjoys hiking, opera and visiting museums.
