UNM Health Sciences Center Seeks Volunteers for Osteoporosis Research

The University of New Mexico School of Medicine at the UNM Health Sciences Center seeks volunteers to participate in study of a non-hormonal treatment of osteoporosis.

The study seeks post-menopausal women, less than 76 years of age, who have not been on hormone replacement therapy for the past six months.

The study will be conducted at the Clinical Trials Center at UNM Hospital. For more information call Rita at 272-2836.

“The Providers” Documentary Screenings and National Broadcast Debut

The award-winning documentary “The Providers,” featuring UNM School of Medicine alumni Leslie Hayes, MD, Matt Probst, PA-C, and College of Nursing alumnus Chris Ruge, RN, will screen on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m in the UNM Student Union Building (SUB). The national broadcast debut of “The Providers” documentary is set for Monday, April 8 on Independent Lens | PBS.
