FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- UNM Children’s Hospital, the Albuquerque Community Foundation, and Don Chalmers announced today that they have secured the rights to host an invitation-only Private Preview event of the film, THE ULTIMATE GIFT, on Monday, February 26, 2007. This Private Preview is one of several hundred special showings that will take place in January and February across the United States and Canada. The event will be held at Century Rio, at 6:00 p.m. The film stars James Garner, Brian Dennehy, Lee Meriwether, Bill Cobbs, Drew Fuller and budding young starlet Abigail Breslin. The movie will be released to general theaters in spring 2007.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed book "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall, the story sends trust fund baby Jason Stevens on an improbable journey of discovery, having to answer the ultimate question: "What is the relationship between wealth and happiness?"

"The Ultimate Gift is more than a book or a movie, it’s a way of life that helps us realize that our most important asset is the life we live," said Hazel Tull-Leach, Executive Director of Development for UNM Children’s Hospital. "As a Private Preview host, we are proud to be able to share this movie, and introduce The Ultimate Gift message to our community and hope that they find the message as inspiring as we have."

The Ultimate Gift is supported by a unique, grassroots marketing and merchandising campaign that is designed to allow philanthropic, educational, faith-based and professional advisory organizations to participate in its promotion. Organizations have been given the opportunity to host their own Private Preview events to bring the message of The Ultimate Gift to their community in a unique way.
