UNM Physical Therapy 30th Anniversary Celebration

The UNM Physical Therapy Department will be celebrating its 30th anniversary Saturday, June 26 at the Albuquerque Bio Park and Aquarium. The event will begin at 6:30 pm with music, dinner, a cash bar and a chance to catch up with old friends.

Over six hundred students have graduated from UNM's Physical Therapy program which began in 1974. Two years later the department graduated its first class in '76.

“The Providers” Documentary Screenings and National Broadcast Debut

The award-winning documentary “The Providers,” featuring UNM School of Medicine alumni Leslie Hayes, MD, Matt Probst, PA-C, and College of Nursing alumnus Chris Ruge, RN, will screen on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m in the UNM Student Union Building (SUB). The national broadcast debut of “The Providers” documentary is set for Monday, April 8 on Independent Lens | PBS.
