UNM School of Medicine Summer 2003 Geriatric Institute Conference

Aging Minds, Aging Spirits: Dementia, Depression and Delirium in the Elderly will take place Thursday, June 19 Saturday, June 21 at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North.

The UNM Continuing Medical Education Summer 2003 conference is designed to offer nurses, physicians, pharmacists, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nursing home administrators and other health care providers who are involved in the health care of older adults, especially American Indian elders, the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge base in geriatrics/gerontology and to further appreciate the interdisciplinary approach to the provision of health care to older adults.

 Aging Minds, Aging Spirits includes three days of seminars on dementia, depression and delirium and guest speakers from a variety of hospitals and universities as well as the UNM Health Sciences Center.
