UNMH Offers Scholarships

University of New Mexico Hospitals plans to award $160,000 to nursing, radiologic technologists, physical/ occupational and speech therapists students to use while in school.

"We wanted to give students the money that can help get them through school," said Sandra DuBrock recruitment manager at UNMH.

Upon graduating, scholarship recipients must commit to two years of employment at UNMH but because UNMH is a teaching hospital the new employee will be receiving continuous educational support and training and can move up quickly.

q Scholarships of $6,500 awarded to 2ndDegree Nursing Program students

q $3,500 Scholarships for Bachelor of Science in Nursing students

q $2,500 Associates Degree Nursing Scholarships and

q $3,500 Scholarships for Radiologic Technologist students

q OT/PT/ Speech Language students will receive $3,500 annually while enrolled at any accredited OT/PT/ speech language program
