UNMH Pro's Join Disparities Leadership Program

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. –University of New Mexico Hospitals (UNMH) staff members Jamie Silva-Steele, administrator, and Susana Rinderle, organizational and professional development specialist, have been accepted by the Disparities Solutions Center (DSC) to be part of its Disparities Leadership Program (DLP).

The DSC, located at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston, Mass., is housed within the MGH Institute of Health Policy and affiliated with MGH and Harvard Medical School’s Department of Medicine.

The center is composed of a multidisciplinary group of health policy experts, and health services researchers and physicians all dedicated to the development and implementation of strategies that advance policy and practice to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in health care.

The DLP is a year-long executive education program designed for leaders from hospitals, health plans and other health care organizations who wish to implement practical strategies to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in health care.

Silva-Steele and Rinderle will be traveling to Boston this May to begin the program.
