Vogel Elected to American Psychiatric Association Board

           Albert Vogel, M.D., professor emeritus in the Department of Psychiatry in the UNM School of Medicine, was recently re-elected to a second term on the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association.

 

Dr. Vogel represents association members in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and the western Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

 

Dr. Vogel also is an emeritus associate dean for clinical affairs in the UNM School of Medicine and former Chief Medical Officer for the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.

 

The American Psychiatric Association is a medical specialty society recognized worldwide. “The Providers” Documentary Screenings and National Broadcast Debut

The award-winning documentary “The Providers,” featuring UNM School of Medicine alumni Leslie Hayes, MD, Matt Probst, PA-C, and College of Nursing alumnus Chris Ruge, RN, will screen on Saturday, March 30 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m in the UNM Student Union Building (SUB). The national broadcast debut of “The Providers” documentary is set for Monday, April 8 on Independent Lens | PBS.
