Wendy Wood Joins Occupational Therapy Faculty

 

Wendy Wood, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA has joined the occupational therapy faculty at UNM in as associate professor. Dr. Wood, received her Ph.D. from University of Southern California and comes to UNM from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 An occupational therapist since 1975, clinical experience has mostly been in the areas of adult rehabilitation and gerontology, with a specialty focus in working with people with Alzheimer disease.  Dr. Wood's current research focus is on the role of the social and physical environment in optimizing care of people with dementia.
